I’m Jacob
I’m a data analytics leader who’s spent years turning messy data into products people actually use — automated pipelines, executive dashboards, self-service tools. I’ve done this at Kepler, Condé Nast, and Deloitte, leading teams and building systems that have saved hundreds of thousands of hours and dollars.
I work mostly in Python, SQL, and Tableau, and lately I’ve been building web and mobile apps.

Subway Times
Quicker than Google Maps for simple departures, especially from your home station. Real-time NYC subway arrivals, where you can favorite your stations, see countdown timers down to the second, and get out the door faster.
Spotify Analytics
Summarize listening trends, without relying on annual Spotify Wrapped. Created an interactive dashboard highlighting top songs/artists/albums via listening trends, heatmaps, skip-rate analysis, artist evolution timelines, session tracking, and listening clock, using Python, Plotly, and Streamlit.
Spotify Playlist Archiver
Automatic weekly archiver of playlists that would otherwise disappear. Includes Discover Weekly, Release Radar, and Your Top Songs at different granularities. Uses PyAutoGUI automation for playlists unavailable via API, and the Spotify API for top tracks with rate-limit handling (Python, Spotipy).
Personal Finance App
Enables precise daily budgeting, investment planning, and optimization, using Python and Apps Script.
E-commerce Store
Full-stack e-commerce site with Stripe payment processing, Express.js backend (Node.js, Stripe API, HTML/CSS/JS).
Automation Utilities
macOS productivity automation suite including Safari bulk tab unpinning and closing, timesheet autofill via keystroke injection, a variety of frequently used toggles (menu bar hide/show, system-wide dark/light mode, VPN connect/disconnect), keyboard backlight control, dock spacer grouping, and game re-roll automation (Python, AppleScript, Bash, PyAutoGUI).
System Administration
